A very warm welcome to the Great Marlow Parish Council Website.
Our website, which was launched in 2013, has been developed for the benefit of all Great Marlow parishioners, as well as for the residents of the town of Marlow and neighbouring parishes. The information supplied will also be of use for visitors to the area and potential new residents.
Great Marlow is a civil parish within the Wycombe district, in the county of Buckinghamshire. It is a widespread, substantially rural parish extending from its southern boundary of the Thames at the Harleyford Estate and Marina to High Heavens and the Wycombe Air Park in Booker at the northern boundary with the M40.
Great Marlow is especially popular with ramblers, horse riders and cyclists. Residents also benefit from their proximity to the lovely riverside town of Marlow which offers excellent schools, shops and restaurants as well as sports facilities and membership of numerous clubs and societies.
Transport links are good with easy access to the M4 and M40. Heathrow is within 20 miles with regular rail connections to London from either High Wycombe to Marylebone or Marlow to Paddington via Maidenhead.
Council meetings are held monthly in Bovingdon Green village hall and parishioner attendance and participation is very much encouraged. The list of meeting dates is included under the Council tab.
If you would like to get involved there is currently a vacancy on Council. To learn more click here.
The ongoing development and long term success of this website is primarily dependent on regular feedback, ideas and contributions from the residents of Great Marlow Parish. Please use the Contact page whenever you have any input.
