The activities which the Parish Council undertakes on behalf of the community are funded by the Parish Council precept. The precept is a tax charged on each property within the parish and it is collected within the council tax charge levied by Wycombe District Council.

A budget is agreed before the start of each financial year and the Council’s finances are reviewed at each council meeting. A full set of accounts are prepared at the year end and these are audited and filed with the Audit Commission.


Great Marlow Parish Council CIL report 2016 -2017

Regulation 62A of the Community Infrasructure Levy (CIL) Regulations sets out that Parish and Town Councils must prepare an annual report which sets out their CIL income and expenditure for each financial year.  The GMPC report for 2016 - 2017 is available to view here.
